Sue Berry is a British expat living in the Canary Islands. She created Expat Legacy Secrets to help English-speaking people understand the practical realities of moving to, living in and planning for the future in Spain.
After more than 25 years building businesses, working with technology and helping people solve everyday problems, Sue wanted to make useful expat information calmer, clearer and easier to act on.
Why Sue created Expat Legacy Secrets
Personal experience showed Sue how difficult life can become when important information is missing, nobody knows where documents are kept and precious memories disappear with the person who held them.
She also realised that the people closest to us may not know where to begin if illness, an emergency or an unexpected change leaves us unable to manage everyday arrangements ourselves. That insight inspired her work as The Legacy Footprint Lady.
